This year UUCA is asking you to help purchase 10 iPads for use by volunteer teachers in UUCA classrooms!

Our 2024 focus is on supporting our Religious Education (RE) ministry, and we’re aiming to equip our classrooms with iPads and to contribute to our tech upgrade needs more generally.  Whether you are an OWL facilitator or a preschool teacher, or just someone who sees the benefit in our RE program in our families lives we need your support.

These devices will make a meaningful difference in how we engage our students through our important OWL classes, engage within our teen programming, and support our dedicated teachers.  With iPads, our teachers will be able to upgrade lesson planning with interactive resources that support the curriculum.

Our goal is to purchase 10 iPads, each costing about $300.

From a Social Justice lens, this process would help us become more eco-friendly, reducing the amount of paper copies of lessons and materials we need to provide each week. We cannot make this important tech upgrade without your help. Whether you can contribute the cost of one iPad or help fund part of one, every donation will bring us closer to our goal.
