Clergy for Fairness Press Conference June 5, 2006

On the eve of debate in the U.S. Senate on the proposed constitutional amendment banning same gender marriage, the Reverends Michael McGee, Linda Olson Peebles, and Richard Nugent attended a press conference organized by Clergy for Fairness (www.Clergyforfairness.org). More than 40 clergy, including 17 Unitarian Universalist ministers, participated in the event that argued that discrimination should not be written into the Constitution.
