Adult Education Program

The mission of the Adult Education Program of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington is to enhance the sense of community at UUCA, to foster growth in the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual lives of UUCA members and friends, and to offer support for UUCA's engagement in the larger community.

We accomplish this mission by sponsoring educational experiences in which participants can:

• get to know one another better .
• share knowledge, skills, and feelings in a relaxed, supportive, and interactive environment .
• develop new skills that enhance our lives as individuals and that contribute to our collective life in community .
• better understand our Unitarian Universalist values and traditions .
• increase our knowledge of the world, its diversity, and its natural and human systems .
• share experiences and insights about issues that concern us and strategies for taking action .
• enrich and expand our intellectual, spiritual and emotional horizons .
• cultivate self-worth and self esteem, as individuals and as a community.

Participation is open to members and friends of UUCA and to the general public.
